Mặc dù cần phải dùng thuốc thường xuyên, nhưng bệnh nhân có thể tận hưởng một lối sống ít bị gò bó hơn nhiều.”

Ông Rashid đã trải qua một ca ghép thận thành công, một thủ thuật được thực hiện trước khi cần thiết phải chạy thận nhân tạo. Bác sĩ Nataphut kết luận: “Chạy thận nhân tạo là một phương pháp điều trị quý giá, nhưng nó không thể tái tạo hoàn toàn một quả thận khỏe mạnh.
